Just 2 nights ago, I watched the Brooklyn 99 episode where they talk about this. And, like, ok, I believe it, but it's also like the whole idea that even if I'm riding a photon and pass one going in the other direction, it's still only going to appear to go the speed of light. Sure. Ok. But what?
