I legitimately don’t mind what the recent Netflix version of Persuasion tried to do…I can watch the 90s version if I want a serious adaptation. I do however mind that Wentworth is completely unlikeable in it. Thank you for coming to Jane Austen hour.

2 thoughts on the Keira Knightly Pride and Prejudice, I wish there was an alternate cut where Elizabeth and Darcy make out after his first proposal. Whatever was going on with Elizabeth’s hair is awful. Keira had short hair at the time and it hangs out the back of her wig and I can never unsee it
