Yes. The timber itself seems to be ok. It’s the loss of supports/joists at the seaward end that makes me wonder.

Oh, copydex. I’d forgotten about that (but not the smell). Am not sure we used it in primary school. Wallpaper paste seems to come to mind but it’s hazy.
