Take some things you like, then do the opposite things from what you can't do and just draw.
That's my case at least. Liked the details and semi-realism of Renaissance art, dark shadows from JJBA and couldn't draw straight lines back in the day, ending up making textures everywhere

Same thing here. Was overvelmed with day to day tasks decided to take two days off and go paint my Maggotkin of Nurgle for AoS and play some Warcry the next day. Made a mistake on how I painted it but its fixable. Advice for PAINters : paint skin completely and use washes/contrast as a filter.
