Just look how beautifully straight those edges are. I learned a technique for DC and HDC turning stitches.
BTW the keyboard isn't involved. I'm just doing Netflix and #crochet, as is my wont.

I switched to natural fiber yarns a while ago, because I don't want to put more plastic into the world. But I have a stash of acrylic yarn. So I'm crocheting ear warmers for the Women's Center. A lot of them are homeless w/o easy access to laundry facilities. These will be easiest to wash.

Finally saw "Sinners." It's an extraordinary film. I'm sure I missed some nuance, but the cinematography is amazing. Couldn't pick up the pattern for when they changed aspect ratio. I'm sure it was meaningful but I didn't suss it.

Do we really need the Epstein files? What if we just get testimony from victims/survivors? I'm sick of hearing stuff from the perspective of perpetrators.

Here's my crochet tip. If the pattern calls for a 5mm hook: Work the chain with a 7mm; work the first round/row with a 6mm; then work the rest with a 5mm.
