I lived and worked for a couple of years in Oz. With good heakcare provided. I had an accident and had to pay a couple of hundred dollars for the ambulance. I was close to needing a helicopter. I'd probably still be paying for that.

There's a balance to be found. If process stops a govt acting on it's commitments then that's anti-demicratic too.

My village has two pubs. The rubbish one often changes owner. The good one is usually busy, the landlord drives an electric Lexus and just got back from his (at least) 4th foreign holiday this year.

There are times to rebel and times to be a team player. Specifically on the 2 child cap the govt said it would be considered as part of a wider review into child poverty. Voting against the kings speech was just grandstanding.

It was the manifesto that got those MPs voted in. The vote was about implementing that manifesto. If they didn't like it they should have joined another party before the ejection.
