Agree. It’s frustrating that progressives (to be fair many others) latch on to the omnicause which often is “ppl have been brainwashed - they can’t possibly actually want what they want.” I think it’s fair for ppl to be turned off by that.

Blaming Trump and Republicans is easy to do (because it’s true and obvious) but they can’t have that because they are special boys and it must be more complicated than that. But they just ague it’s the Dems fault for not doing what they think they should do.
