Absolutely. Keep plugging away, build a positive and publicly supported case for rejoining and eventually we will get there.

In my view, part of that sorting out could be showing we are serious about rejoining, starting low level negotiations with them to re establish our friendship & develop a plan to rejoin. That has probably already started, but we shouldn't be defeatist & convince ourselves that the EU will say No.

Why not do both. Sort out our problems, neutralise Farage's divisiveness and negotiate with The EU. Get the ball rolling and create some positivity.

Migrants & refugees have been used as a scapegoat for poor political decisions & governance for far too long. They are not the problem, this Govt should be focusing their efforts on more important things. Bringing out more anti-immigrat legislation is chasing the Reform vote in my view.

There is a lot of dislike, and rightly so. The question I have to ask is why are Labour even heading in the direction of Reform or Tory policy?
