General d'Armee 2 is the best set of rules I've ever used. Simple mechanics, command driven, will work in any scale (typically 1 or 2 divisions per side)

And Pendraken figures are just so good (and a genuine pleasure to paint). If I didn’t already have unconscionable numbers of 6mm Napoleonics, I would definitely go for these.
