For many (non-celiac) people, so-called gluten problems are because of American flours and commercial bread making. Try baking your own with overnight rise in the fridge using better flour. You may be delightfully surprised. (P.S. It's easier than you may think)

True PR tends to create minority governments necessitating weird, often dysfunctional coalitions (e.g. Israel). I prefer Single Transferable Vote, so that if your first choice isn't elected, your vote goes to your second choice & so on. Better for democracy & participation

Here's a novel idea. Why not end gerrymandering altogether and have ingredient commissions draw district boundaries along natural geographic lines LIKE EVERY OTHER DEMOCRACY IN THE WESTERN WORLD. If you can't win an election without choosing your voters, then maybe you need more appealing policies

Companies: AI will replace all entry-level workers & job functions.

New graduates: There are no jobs for people entering the workforce!

Future companies: Where are all the people who know how to do things in a workplace? No one knows how to be creative, innovate, or even have a conversation!

Facts don't convince people, especially if those facts are at odds with either their source of income or identity connection. With MAGA, it's their identity that's being challenged by facts.

Canadians went out of their way in droves to vote against the guy who wants to bully the party into letting him stay on. Why does he want to stay on so much? Because he's never held a real job outside of politics in his life, and he's afraid that he wouldn't be hirable for anything.

Truly sad

He campaigned on a platform of DOGE-style cuts to the federal civil service in a riding primarily comprised of federal civil servants.

Can't get much more out-of-touch than that. 🙄

Handing university governance, hiring, & curriculum to politicians ensures one-sided indoctrination rather than true academic discourse. Imagine this proposal in the hands of the opposite political party to yours. Still in favor? P.S. Most people against "wokeness" can't actually define it.

GOP Senators: Here's a novel idea. If you're afraid of being primaried if you defy Trump, then go ahead and defy him now. You'll save your seat in what will be the midterm GOP wipeout.
