Almost every PhD I know is little more than a pile of questionable life choices duct-taped together under a baggy sweater - these are some of the most believable academics I’ve seen.

When I asked this same question to a colleague a few years back, they said it was better to go with “A Thousand Plateaus” - if I remember correctly his argument was that ATP was much more useful and applicable, while Anti-Oedipus was a specific critique of a specific discourse.
