WHERE IS THE FOH BUTTON
December 3, 2025 at 4:25 PM
Whenever something has a "Remind Me Later" button, what I really want is to click "Don't Ask Me About This Ever Again."

BREAKING: Adina Howard, born November 14, 1973, continues to look like "Ms. Parker just don't know." 🔥

No possible way Madonna's new 20th edition cover for Confessions on a Dance Floor isn't a reference to Tina Turner's Acid Queen (1975). I appreciate the respect shown from one legend to another.

"Frozen dairy dessert"??? 🤔🤔🤔🤔

When you work this hard not to say ICE CREAM, then I have serious concerns about WHAT this actually is.

Never stopped caring about CDs. My current Luther fixation is just *today's* acquisition. The stack of CDs on this desk is just the *closest* stack to me right now.

[An aside --> Nice that AI is trying not to create harmful things, but what if it offered me the option to not have it weigh in on anything I search for unless I specifically ask for it? What if "-ai" was the default?]

Love the GIF choice. Way classier than mine.

Found some video footage (no audio) of a Malcolm Jamal Warner show I went to in June 2005. I forgot that I had this memento. The show was a whole vibe.

Who’s your favorite reoccurring (that is not part of the regular cast but kept showing up) sitcom character?

Maybe y'all moved on to other stuff in the last year, but I'm still runnin' Lucky Daye's 'Algorithm.' So many faves... "Algorithm," "Blame," "HERicane," "Pin," "Top," "Mary," "Diamonds in Teal" -- I could just list them all.

It was such a good project from top to bottom.

I'm trying to stop, but... it's just... they... they just taste good AF. 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Here's an unsubstantiated comment on a YouTube video I posted alleging that Rebbie Jackson's "I Feel for You" was planned to be her lead single in 1984 until Chaka Khan's version dropped. (Dubious because Chaka didn't drop that single until October '84.) @eb4prez.bsky.social

Does Ronnie Laws' "Tidal Wave" mean anything to you?

If it makes you feel something strong, then I need to know you. I'm always tryna find my people. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yq3S...

I was so surprised to have enjoyed a late-career Joni Mitchell album as much as I did Taming the Tiger (1998). Playing it felt like visiting with a good friend you don't get to see often.

Now I just wanna see how much obscuring I need to do in order to not have this image get flagged by BlueSky's automatic moderation. Since even a little lace and decolletage is supposedly "adult content."

Stevie Wonder was on stage about 45min. He sang "Creepin'," "Perfect Angel," and "If It's Magic," telling stories in between. (I didn't know Minnie was in the studio when he recorded "Magic"!)

Here's a bit of "Perfect Angel" and him getting the underenthusiastic crowd together like a pro!!

Stevie Wonder alone would've been special, but to have him walked onto the stage by Minnie's daughter Maya and her husband Richard just made my feelings go supernova.

The whole time Stevie was up there, I just felt... this deep reverence. 3rd time I've seen him perform live, and still... WOW.

Appropriately, she next sang "Give Me Time" which she covered beautifully on her album Love The Woman. And of course, they let her handle singing the forever favorite, "Lovin' You."

Sorry I abandoned the thread earlier but I couldn't watch AND document while Chante was singing. She delivered "Stay In Love" so elegantly (with her sequined body suit shining!)

After doing a beautiful instrumental rendition of Minnie's "Alone on Brewster Bay," he treats the crowd to his own hit "Breezin'."
