They should def be able to increase those $$$ if ai tools used their APIs instead of just scraping the website, and i imagine for the ai model makers it could be a better trust signal than the current “5% of this llm is trained on reddit comments”.

Sorry i got a little technical. Normally there is an openapi specification file available (its a standard for describing an api). They clearly have them cos their docs are modeled on it. They are key to helping developers make use of an api. It would drive revenue even further faster.
