My workplace has become toxic.
An issue today came up.

The person who discovered the issue spent hours pointing fingers that there is a bug, gloating that they found a bug and making a nice big song and dance.

Could have just fixed it and had it in prod in 15 mins bro…

Just had someone sign off their email to me with Hugs, Name.

Not “Warm regards”.
Not “Thanks”.
Not “Regards”.

Just “Hugs”…and I love it.

I’m determined to become a day person. I’ve been a night worker for years now, waking at late afternoon, working all night and then bedtime at 8am…
