I’m so sorry. This isn’t tenable. I got shingles as a junior in high school. When my kind and wonderful pediatrician told me that I needed to take it easy, I (very uncharacteristically) snapped at him and said I couldn’t relax until I'd sent out my college apps and been accepted into a few schools.

I tried to stockpile garlic chili oil after one of the earlier round of tariffs was announced, but it’s pointless on stocking up. When I have it on hand, I can eat that stuff by the spoonful. 😆

Make a master list of what you packed in the corresponding boxes. Label boxes w/ descriptions of the contents. Make a list of items to keep in your backpack (sensitive paperwork, meds, etc.). Label boxes clearly w/ items you’ll want once you unpack: Bedding, basic kitchen and cleaning stuff, etc.

I love making soup stock on a cold, rainy day.

Yup. I cook mixed beans in a pot, add garlic, onions, zucchini, squash and sausage. My end of the week meal before I go grocery shopping is a veggie scramble. Rotisserie chicken, quinoa and broccoli with hot sauce is an easy wfh lunch.

Ooh, pretty! I wore a flapper dress we found either at our house or my grandparents’ for Halloween one year. I’m sure my Mom had to pin it up for me. I had no idea what it was, just that it was pretty. Man, I wish I still had that dress.
