Joined the ulcerative #colitis club today thanks to my colonoscopy this morning. It's overwhelming to add another chronic condition to my plate, but it's a strangely wonderful feeling to have validation for what I've gone through. I think many of you know that feeling.

Nothing says true love like a cat who won't leave your side when you're stuck in the bathroom doing colonoscopy prep.

Today is Transgender Day of Remembrance. Each year, the trans community loses too many lives, especially trans women of color, to hate and violence.

More than ever, we must stand by our trans family and support them, hold space for them, and insist the scapegoating and targeting stop.

A year ago today, we met and adopted two four month old orange kitten brothers from a local shelter. These are their adoption website photos - aren't they the cutest?! I'm so thankful for their unconditional love. 🧡
