I don't actually have an issue with pirating as long as you're still paying the artist somehow. Buy a digital copy of the album. Buy something physical. Buy merch. Its important to monetarily support artists, & finding a way you can that makes you happy & supports them is the best thing you can do.

I make enough back from Bandcamp sales to pay the difference, but the whole model is intensely fucked where I have to subsidize these giant streaming corps. It's like they reimagined payola in a way where I still have to pay a middle man but I don't even get a guarantee that my music is played.
