Democrats. The only way we are going to survive this administration is for all of us to register as Republican. It’s the one way we can participate in the Republican primaries and it’s the only way to obscure gerrymandered maps. Just do it.

It is literally Hunger Games out here grocery shopping. Scared, suspicious people pushing pushing crippled carts. Every shopper for themselves!

Things are scary enough for us. We have a “before” context that sharply contrasts with it all. I feel for the young ones coming up in all this. This is their normal. They don’t have a felt sense of, although not perfect, of structural norms. How will they turn out?

It's been a extraordinary horrific week among a steady diet of horrific weeks. Hang on people. Take relief in your local life; your sanctuary, your creativity, your people, your pets. Hang on to them tight.
