I'm hoping that there is a plan to replace it with something better - that isn't the plaything of the big energy companies and takes quality and customer care seriously. And so then also provides much better and more meaningful and stable jobs - instead of just screwing subbies.

The caveat is - ECO is a market based scheme that puts the fox in charge of the henhouse, where fraud is common and quality often abysmal. There are none of the normal contractual controls - that do exist under Warm Homes funding - and the householder has little power and limited means of redress.

It's really weird.
Think some must think this is all a game and their words have no effect. They don't realise or don't care. (Same in the increasingly evil debate about refugees).
