We’ll explore the link between poor sleep and dementia, new models of how we recall dreams, reliable ways to measure dream recall (scales and diaries), and the cognitive neuroscience of daydreaming, thus setting the scene nicely for the defense to follow.

This supports a top-down model of dream recall, where cognitive control + higher-order visual processing aid in encoding & retrieving dream content.

Using qMRI, DTI, rs-fMRI & Linked ICA, we found a single multimodal component associated with dream recall frequency.
