This week was marked by yet another farm visit with @tporganics.bsky.social colleague @kjouh.bsky.social: "À la ferme de Boerder" in Brussels combines #organic sheep, urban agriculture, #agroforestry, nature protection and sustainable quality meat production in a unique project. ☔🐏🐑🌿🦔🍀🌳🌄🌍

It was great to visit BIGH aquaponics farm in Brussels. Urban farming - from CSAs to community gardens - holds manifold opportunities for strengthening local communities, public health, circular (bio-)economies & #FoodSovereignty and should build on #organic and agroecological principles. 🏙️🌱🐠🥦🍠🍪🍻
