Also a long story from a resident about her thank you notes being stolen from her mailbox and then tossed into a ditch where a neighbor walking her dog found them and returned them. "Just an example of how neighbors watch out for each other here."

Did our part by installing solar panels on our Florida beach cottage. Generating enough power to cool most days, even in the summer heat.

My local Kiwanis Club in Springfield, TN spearheaded a skatepark project. Took a lot of arm twisting but we got the city on board and now it’s anchoring a great downtown park. And bonus, it’s bringing in out of town visitors!!!

There is a serious lack of accountability with OHS. Folks in closed encampments are only being offered temporary shelter with no real hope of permanent housing in a reasonable timeframe. How many of the Hermitage camp’s folks are still at Rodeway after over a year?

And who doesn’t equate quality dining with Kid Rock, right? 🫤
