On Friday 30 January 2026, our friend and long-time colleague Uno Svedin sadly passed away.

Uno was a pioneer in building transdisciplinary science since the 1980s and has been an extremely active and appreciated part of the Centre for many years.

Hälften av de globala utsläppen kommer från 32 fossilbolag. Av de 20 som släpper ut mest är 17 statliga bolag, som Saudi Aramco (ensamt ansvarig för 1,7 miljarder ton CO2, 2024).
