Sure. But also music appreciation and musical understanding can also just be the end goal. Music classes and band practice etc can also just be for you know….its importance. Not everything has to lead to symphony performances or jobs in music. I had history. I’m not a historian.

Something I hate is when you read something bad about you to simply let it roll off. Nah. That shit sucks. It hurts your feelings. I think it's really important to feel. For instance this tweet I read really fuckin hurt because it's a lot of inaccuracies about who I am. Roll with it..but ouch!
