And finally for now (I have way more than just these), this is Reynardo, my Turali vampire. As a character beyond FFXIV, he’s existed for a decade, from when I first looked into my background. So he’s more generally Central American Indigenous, maybe Belize and El Salvador mostly. Also Mexico!

Here’s Sayeva, my journalist Hrothgal. She’s from a tribe that is also coded Taíno, but includes more of the West African influence as with when those cultures meshed in Jamaica. She used to pass herself off as Bozjan before DT was announced (ie: retcon).

This is Rowan. He’s literally an excuse for me to play a rougarou. His coding is a mix of Cajun and Creole, naturally.

…here is his granddaughter Tisironi, aka Obsidian, also coded Taíno but was trapped in the bubble. Tisi doesn’t know much about her tribe’s culture and is also more machine than woman at this point due to a degenerative disease.

As much as I unenjoyed DT, Tural gave me hella space to make WoLs of color lol.

Here’s Amirariah. He’s from a Shetona tribe that is heavily Taíno-coded. I will keep saying it: XIV’s tribute to the Indigenous Americas skipped the entire Caribbean. So here is a man, and…

This last one is just a neat thing that I would like to see ingame. Technically it’s a rug, but it gives the illusion of having depth — being a glass walkway over basically an aquarium.
