I've been to people's homes and accepted offered coffee and had to deal with a foul brew cut with chicory. Noxious stuff/acquired taste.

Calculators were never designed to replace mathematicians, and never have and never will. LLMs are from the outset designed to imitate and ultimately replace humans and are already costing people their livelihoods (artists, editors, translators, coders, traders ...)
