The sad and dawning realization that this has been happening to me in a never-ending cycle ever since I was 9 years old because I have been told repeatedly my entire life and even now that my feelings do not and never will matter

So many of my friendships just devolve into this and I really don’t understand. It starts with friendly ribbing and then it just plummets into hurtful comments and resentment. And communication can’t fix it either because the other person does not give a fuck since everything’s a joke to them
