storms were about 50% harder to predict than average... In fact using that metric, 2025 was one of the

These stations provide critical weather data during extreme rainfall events and tropical cyclones. Emergency responders need this data to make real-time decisions, and meteorologists need this data to make accurate predictions (and to plug into weather forecasting models!).
