What I want to see,and this is possible, is America investing in things that will improve our people's lives in ways not necessarily about accumulated wealth: health,happiness,a clean environment with open access to nature ,education, proper housing,safe,vibrant communities, a normal retirement age.

Armchair quarterbacking is fun,but I don't agree that corruption is behind every action.Trump is a sociopath,bullies everyone,children...He's caused millions to die already,by cutting aid; we know his history.Constituents are hurting so that's the actual reason for this vote,however non-strategic.

Yes,it's an obscene strike at Americans,who've been working and still can't afford basic health care or the insurance to keep them alive. What is the rationale for either party on this policy of unaffordable existance? Democrats are not being forceful enough-people will die! Non-negotiable.

They fell for the lies & promises of the worst sociopaths in my lifetime. Republicans are exploiting & traumatizing children, the elderly,the disabled, for political gain. They just made history,weakening Democrat's advantage at a critical time.It's akin to traitorship,with so much at stake! Resign!

Yet, as a constituent, I'm keeping in mind that Angus King's son,Angus King Jr., is running for Governor of Maine next year...and running in his dad's footsteps ain't gonna cut it,not with fascism, cruelty and corruption the current GOP platform!

I'm a better deal negotiator than Dem Senators. FFS Children are being starved,traumatized & exploited as political pawns and THIS is how you respond? You don't make deals with terrorists.
