Currently, 14 states and D.C. — where nearly half (47%) of the voting-eligible population lives — have a mail ballot receipt deadline that is after Election Day.

Election officials should be allowed to ensure that all valid votes will be counted so that every voter has their voice heard.

Driver’s license policies govern how a person can change the gender marker on their license. However, many states have not yet modernized their policy or process, which is challenging for transgender people trying to access IDs that matches their gender identity.

Families need to be able to trust that therapists will help and not hurt their child. Our laws should protect families from unethical therapists who use pressure and shaming tactics to make LGBTQ young people hate themselves and who they are.
