I love my job! Why? It's very technical, and artsy at the same time. I get to experiment, learn new skills like tracking, & get helpful tips from awesome people. #b3d is so much fun, & I like visualizing our clients products with attention to the details. This one is RND work-in-progress VW Tiguan.

What's up?

Personally I am drawn to characters but never focused much on them in my 'career'. From time to time though, there are a few attempts & really enjoy it.

I started 2012 as a storyboard/ 3D artist in the automotive industry. Two years later, I became a freelance 3D artist & did get a chance to work on various interesting projects. My experience in pipeline and workflow led to a new job, rolling out #b3d #blender as primary 3D tool & finally team lead.

For the #ID7 project & our rather new approach of visual storytelling, I had to create early previews in #blender #b3d giving the projectmanagement a first glimpse of what the environments, camera moves and overall look could be.

Some time ago, I was experimenting with typography in #b3d - reminiscent of my communicationdesign studies at university. I do like the result knowing I kinda left my comfort zone.

This was my first project at dammannworks. A full CGI animation about the new #Volkswagen smart airvents in the #ID7 and was realized in blender #b3d, #blackmagicdesign #fusion & #resolve

I've basically got hundreds of these #head #illustrationa all cutted out in a box :)

#illustrations are something I mostly do when listening to someone talking, or being on the phone. Since it's mostly heads I began cutting them out and collecting them. A collection of heads.

First Blender Conference in Amsterdam #bcon16 #b3d, and then this happened.

I am a #b3d enthusiast since april 2006.

I use social media purely to entertain myself or interact with people who are otherwise hard to reach. I prefer peacefulness, & I will appreciate art, beautiful thoughts, & great recommendations for stuff to look at. I do have views on things & politics, but I will probably not discuss any of them.
