I don't know, Irish food seemed fairly popular. This being said, it's been decades since I lived there so I don't qualify as an expert. London in particular seemed to have every type of foreign food you could think of. But yes, Indian/Pakistani food was more common than Chinese there.

Wow, that's really strange. Looks like they have been mismanaged pretty badly. It's a shame, I did like their food.

Their website says there is one still open in Indianapolis. I used to visit them occasionally when they had a location open near me, but there's none left in Illinois.

True, but all quite popular there - other than lobster rolls. I never heard of that over there. I think foreign food is popular in the UK because traditional British food is so bland.

I don't miss Houston, but it was easier to find kolaches there. Although I'm sure I could find some in Chicago proper if I searched for them.
