I've run it several times and it hits what I'm looking for in a supernatural investigation RPG. I'm more into real world folklore these days than Cthulhu Mythos stuff, and the rules are lighter than CoC. I tend to run Vaesen like a Hellboy comic set in the mythic 1800s than a more horrific game.
