I bought two books as gifts this year, but somehow LOST them?? I remember buying them. I remember squirreling them away at my desk. And then when I went to wrap them, they were gone. Just gone. Nowhere to be found.

I swear to G-d that if any if my neighbors choose to complain about the noise or the amount of salt I used to clear our building's sidewalk of snow, I am going full scorched Earth. I used to like these people (mostly) but don't fuck with me when I'm trying to be nice.

I am so lucky to have a partner that will sit with me to write a list & prioritize my tasks. This might sound silly, but by helping my through my to-do list he really helps keep me from falling down a stress spiral.

Just did the math, and I have recieved a Summons for Jury Sevice roughly every two and a half years since becoming an adult. IS THIS NORMAL???? I don't think I know a single adult who has recieved as many Summons as I have, and know even fewer who have had to report to potentially serve as me.

I don't know what the fuck I did kharmically to deserve this, but I just recieved my SEVENTH jury summons in my adult life.

For the last two weeks, every day I've had off of work there has been a handyman resurfacing the front door to our building. Which has meant a penetrating whine throughout my entire apartment for an entire day, because I live on the ground floor.

Today I got a concrete diagnosis that I am both Autistic and have ADHD. And while it feels like this shouldn't be a surprise to anyone- it is also as shattering to my identity as realizing I was trans. I both know myself more deeply than ever, but also wonder if I ever knew myself at all.

To anyone who has stayed at my house in the last couple of years: I am so sorry. I just found out that the shower handle in my guest bathroom has been misaligned and topped out at baby-safe temperatures. Don't worry though- I fixed it! And you can now scald yourself in the shower if you want to!
