Yeah.” “I was helping lay pipe,” Dolph explains. “Ended up getting soaked.” Ramón stares. He looks Dolph up and down with a quirked eyebrow. “...You’re still sitting here in a wet tee-shirt?” “No, it dried hours ago.” Dolph pats himself on the sternum. “And yet.” “And yet,” Ramón repeats. After a brief moment, he reaches out and touches Dolph’s chest, where his own hand had been just a second ago. He brushes his fingertips against the fabric, feels its mild cotton stretch under his fingers. He pinches his thumb against the knuckle of his index finger, gathering up some of the fabric between them and pulling back, causing the shirt to pull forward. Dolph protests. “Ramón, you’re going to stretch–” but he doesn’t get the chance to finish his complaint before Ramón lets go of it and it snaps back into place, albeit a little ruffled. “I don’t think it’s your shirt or the water,” Ramón states, as Dolph soothes his shirt back into place. “You’ve gained weight.” “It’s called bulking,” Dolph corrects. “Right. Bulking. The whole reason why you single-handedly took on all the greenhouse restoration projects,” Ramón teases, swirling his can in the air."

Loud trousers — whether through pattern or color — are often easier to wear with casualwear, which operates according to a different visual language. To be sure, sometimes you can wear a patterned trouser with a tailored jacket, but I'm trying to make things easier for you.
