Yeah mine is a T480s, it came with Win 11 and that seemed to run really well on it, for the 15 minutes it took to download as USB flashing utility and LMDE ISO.

It looks like they kinda tried with the names to make them look a bit different (still failed) but the addresses are all identical and distinctive handwriting, lol.

Being from Alabama I have no dog in the NFL fight, but I just hope all my family in MI finally get to see the Lions in a Super Bowl, at this point I don't even think the win is necessary, just getting there will do.

I got 4 of them when my company moved HQs for a grand total of 0 dollars. So much office churn. This is also why I recommend 3-4 year old Lenovo laptops to people, I got a T480s with 24GB ram and 1TB SSD on a $200 low-ball eBay bid. Corporate waste makes for solid secondary market value.

I am younger than 47 but my oldest kid's friend group is 16-18, and they all look like kids. Sure there is an exceptional kid here or there that genuinely looks a few years older, but they are still not mature. At the end of the day their brains are still years away from fully developing.

It may turn voters off that the Democrats are trying to do a "European" thing in 'murica. But honestly I think it's a good idea. We should openly borrow more ideas from other Democracies and this would help organize things better, and demonstrate that there's an effective cabinet waiting and ready.

Similar role that shadow governments play in Parliamentary systems. Instead of every Dem politician messaging on whatever, there would be a shadow cabinet offering messaging on what "their department" would be doing and focusing/specializing on that area and presenting that they are ready to lead.
