#Folksy run a theme of the day to help showcase their makers. Today's theme is 'Gifts Under £10' because Christmas is coming up way too fast.

I've got a fair few bits on the tag, but there are so many talented makers selling beautiful gifts that won't break the bank.

I have managed to do work that uses my brain in way covid made impossible, several days in a row. It's not completely where it was, but that might be a case of retraining now. It's taken 13 months to get back to about 90%. And we're back in covid season with hubby still in retail...

I just need that headline to be satire. Please?

Also, as a national "newspaper" (playing fast and loose with the word, I know), surely there's an editor left who knows the word they're looking for is 'fewer'.

I'm really not a fan of editing photos or writing product descriptions. It's boring and it's fiddly. So, how exactly did I end up running not one but two businesses where I spend a significant amount of time editing photos and writing product descriptions?

Decided it was time to make things. Picked up the bag of heishi beads that need sorting by colour. Decided it was time to make different things. 😂

The things arrived, and are perfect, but the hands rebelled and I am not dealing with making things with teeny tiny beads when the joints in my fingers hurt this much.

Admin and academia tonight. Practical stuff tomorrow.
Hoping tomorrow is going to be a making things day, but that is completely in the hands of Royal Mail and I wasn't guaranteed delivery tomorrow, so I'm not overly optimistic.

I have a lot of projects on the go, all with stuff needing completing asap. Trying to prioritise for tonight's work, but what I'd really like to do is curl up and have a nice cosy nap.

Just seen these Christmas wine glass charms I made pop up on the Folksy theme of the day front page. Still love seeing my work appearing on the front page (It's a tagged thing. They rotate the front page. I'm not that special. It's still cool 😂).

Learning new computer systems is one of my least favourite things. Learning new computer systems with international regulations and legal implications attached, is mildly terrifying. The next week or two is going to suck, but I need to keep reminding myself it will, hopefully, one day be routine.

Ok, so I'm now going to be a seller on Abe Books as well as having the jewellery shop to keep stocked and run. My family collected books for many decades (me included), and it is now my task to rehome as many as possible. It's bittersweet, and it's a lot of books. Holy crap I'm going to be busy!!
