Sigh...not getting anywhere near enough from the top 6. Credit to the Aussie attack.

RA has enjoyed a generous level of support in his year plus. SJR seems to like him, Berada has staked a decent amount of his own reputation/internal capital on RA. Id imagine they'll continue to give RA the benefit of the doubt for as long as they can.

What do you think?

For me, 8th or better would be progress. I do wonder if thats sufficient progress for Ineos.

I mentioned it elsewhere but Ineos potentially have a big decision to make in the summer. They can't afford a repeat of the EtH decision and eventual sacking.

Given the financial situation, I think RA is safe through the end of the season.

Big decision though at that point when he will have 1 year left (+option) so it's likely they sign an extension or part ways in the summer.

I pray they don't fall into the same trap they fell into with EtH.

I don't buy the 'if they're good enough...' argument with RA. It doesn't matter if they are good enough if they don't do very specific things.

KM is good enough to start a European Final but isn't a ground covering, progression passing machine which is what RA wants in those midfield roles.

After the transfer, remember the away end at Goodison singing "Andre, Andre Kan-Fuck Off, hey"

He's extremely tight. as of a few years ago, he'd given virtually nothing to charities or similar organizations.

Similar to yourself, I think the likely outcome is he goes and we wish him well.

That said, if we're in Europe, there's a possibility he's back on reduced wages of only to inflate the squad numbers for a season.

Dan - what would you do with Casemiro at the end of the season?
December 10, 2025 at 7:44 PM
At some point, his form will beg a few questions...and we may already be there

I've been impressed by his technical skills but...I've grown highly skeptical of anyone coming over from Germany. Seems like a very low hit rate relative to the prices.

The knives will be out if United drop points...again.
December 6, 2025 at 7:19 PM
He's here until the end of the season but the Wolves match is massive. Anything short of 3 points and the knives will be out.

Definitely not what the club needs with tougher fixtures and AFCON looming.

Resigning Ronnie was the ultimate Woodward shiny object moment.

Well said mate.

The narrative for Ole was he could only play on the counter and he couldnt maintain possession or score from settled play. We still suffer from the same problem and are much less dangerous on the counter.

I wonder if Ole would have pushed on if they bought a CM instead of CR7?

Don't need stats to tell me they were donkeys at United. Both were below the bar even for those shit sides.

Ianc...my read is they are running it "like a business" in order to push money back into the club. They haven't taken out a penny and have, in fact, put additional money ($300m, the maximum allowable) into the club.

I don't like everything they've done but they are not doing it to make money.

Yes, absolute classic.
