One new bike to the Barnawartha track day was this very sexy Norton.

A fully stroked 850 motor taken out to 920cc sitting inside a Harris-Ducati frame made this machine something quite special.

It was the bike's maiden visit to any track since being built, and that exhaust note captivated all.

The second last track day of the year at the Barnawartha rider-training track was on today, with some new riders/bike turning up.

Early showers & cold winds failed to dampen the general enthusiasm, but the tyre warmers were the order of the day.

Check out the hi-tech overflow bottle - magic!

After fitting new injectors to solve an ongoing fuelling issue with the V-Strom, a mate tuned and synched them yesterday with vacuum gauges ... she's purring along beautifully now.

Take her out to enjoy last days of Spring, lunching at Corowa's Barrel and Brew cafe ... best bloody hamburger ever!

We've just had this stunning bloom burst forth from a cacti in our succulent garden ... I soooo love this colour; lipstick red I think?

An interesting bit of commentary from ex-Liberal leader Prof. John Hewson ... great to see he supports the elimination of one level of govt (state?) to restructure the Federation.

Research 15 yrs ago showed this could save $22 billion annually! 😲😖😎

A long story, but true nonetheless.

I've waited 43 years for the opportunity to this band after losing two tickets to see them play back in 1982.

Bonn Scott was still the lead singer back then; but let me tell you these boys rocked out just as hard last night as they would have done back then! 🥰😎

Witnessed the old and the new in Australian rock with Amyl and the Sniffers as the main opening support for the legendary AC/DC at the MGC last night.

The blonde dynamo fronting the Sniffers channels Mick Jagger's stage persona ... pure entertainment in hyper drive! 🤙🥰😎

Grandson Ollie, aged 3yrs 11mths, had his first ride with dad on my V-Strom 1000 yesterday.

After completing two laps he disembarked with upset look on his face & we thought it overwhelmed him ... when asked what's wrong, he replied the ride wasn't long enough! 😂

Another rider in the making. 🥰🤗😎

I was house-sitting for a friend in Chiltern, Victoria, back in early May of 2021 and this was the first major frost a month before winter officially started.

I particularly love the shot of the tree that appears to be smoking from the top as the sun kisses its frozen foliage.

Doing some photo editing for a job and just thought I'd post some random shots from the archives while I've got them open.

Here's a double rainbow from a few years back; fun fact, the colours in the second rainbow are inverse of the first! 🌈🤩😎

While I remain neutral on a dispute that has essentially raged on for the past 1500 years, this latest round of killings is inhuman and unjustified.

Furthermore, to equate lost $$$billions to support such racial cleansing activities is abhorrent in the extreme ... children's futures are priceless!

Looking after my three grandkids from Traralgon for the week, it's been fantastic.

Activities include bike rides to parks, ten pin bowling and this amazing live show, Signor Baffo, at The Cube theatre, Wodonga.

All kids, not just mine, had a hoot of a time with farts, trips & creampies galore. 🤣😎

Here's a more sedate pictorial of yesterday's clay modelling school holiday activities at the Wodonga Plaza.

Notice the intensity of their artistic endeavours as the tounge gets a workout from one budding artist! 😂🥰😎

I have my three grandkids from Traralgon for 2nd week of Vic school holidays, so a long list of activities is being worked though, including park bike rides, movies, clay modelling classes etc.

This is how I prefer my school holiday activities ... fast and furious! 🤣😇🥰😎

I have my three grandchildren for last week of school holidays, and currently being subjected to endless, mindless YouTube reels full of furking ads; I blew their mind telling them the internet used to be ad-free when youtube first started ... just like commercial tv now, like so full of schitt! 💩😎

The last post of the "Evening Walk" series ... I'm so ridiculously lucky, and so truly grately, to be living in such a beautiful part of the world: North East Victoria, Australia. 🥰

Last shot ponders what constitutes beauty? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but give me the bush any day! 😂🥰😎

Hey, who knew Mother Nature had such a wicked sense of humour: check this out?

Shots from my "Evening Walk" series showing a truly magnificdnt sunset vista, view from the seat you see it from, then the actual seat!

Furken funny, aye!

This is the second last of the photo sets for the "Evening Walk" series. I have a couple of videos as well, but need to add some music for an improved viewing experience. 🫣😂

The last pic is where I really let myself go ... in the Off-leash area! 🤭😎

This is post #2 of the "Evening Walk" series.

Location: West Wodonga, Victoria

Upon completion of this set of pics, I'll then post some formidible fungi shots from some recent foraging expeditions ... cleaning out the photo folder. 🫣😎

It's time for me to stop ranting about the woes of the world, and to start sharing some of the wonders I have in my life.

This is series of shots from my regular walking track, a round trip of approx 6.4kms that borders on urban sprawl and natural environs ... so bloody lucky and truly grateful. 🥰😎

PS: I strongly recommend your talents are best applied to the Christian nativist fascist dictatorship currently masquerading as the US government; they are in far greater need of your blind faith and atonement-come-exorcism services than me!

Check out South Park of where to start ... Carpe diem! 😈😎

Robyn Williams was an incredible comedian/actor. An interview with Julia Morris (whom I was unfamiliar with) typifies just how brilliant, and compassionate, Williams truly was ... such a beautful story! 🥰🤗😎

More disturbing findings from the Pew Research Centre on God's role in selecting Trump as the POTUS ... such BLIND faith is extremely concerning!
