I don’t have good lighting here for the picture, but I’m pretty stoked about putting my Vampire the Masquerade themed arcade stick together. I might have to learn to play Killer Instinct; there’s a vamp in that game. 🦇

It’s a shame much of the modern internet exists in siloed spaces of social media sites, but understandable when the alternative is so many ads you have to read content through tiny boxes. Near every site is best viewed by using Reader mode, which should be the default design on the site itself.

I’ve been really good the whole week getting back into the swing of playing fighting games. Mostly focused on GBFVSR, but today is Xrd Rev2 day. I play this on pad, and just started wearing a billiards glove to make the dpad smoother. No magic bullet, but very helpful.

I need to practice, at least once each week, Guilty Gear Xrd and SF6. Been inconsistent, and only touched Xrd. Started wearing billiards gloves to make moving my thumb over a dpad smoother. Works like a charm. Have to relearn my favorite character. Good thing I kept notes!

Gosh. Fired up Guilty Gear Xrd for pretty much no reason, hope into training mode, and it was just so satisfying. Think I might spend this week labbing until I regain most of my old ability… then find some people to play with.

Installed an extra 2TB SSD into the PS5 Pro, for nearly 4TB total storage. Time to d/l all the relevant fighting games in my library so they’ll always be at the ready!
Had to be white to match the outside! Also, love screw fit the cover plate. 🤣

Sorry for the unphotogenic picture, but I got myself proper drunk off a cocktail called a Gold Rush, and WOW it’s good! I’d like a less offensive whiskey sour, though my second glass I used a little less lemon juice, and much more honey syrup. 10/10 drink. 🍹

I’ve really gotten into Critical Role since something new is starting with campaign 3’s ending, and I’ve gone farther in Baldur’s Gate 3 than ever, so I’m in a D&D mode lately. So much so that I’ve bought the V players guide, and DM’s guide! They’re excellent thus far. Really want to play soon.

I’ve finally got to eat a Tokyo Banana. A pikachu one at that! Always hard how great they are, and I have to agree it’s true. Not too sweet like a Twinkie, and softer still. And yes, 🍌 flavored.

Finally playing some Marvel Rivals, and it’s a lot of fun! I’m terrible at it, but that’s ok. Everyone starts bad. I passed Overwatch a lot before, but this is my first time on MnKB, plus learning new characters/stages. So far, Peni Parker is the bestest ♥️

The limited edition VtM dice set and tray arrived last week. I only just looked at them now, and I think they look great! Bought two as well. If I ever get to play in a live game, I’m definitely using these ones.

I want to take time to check out Dizzy too, though Elphelt may fit an archetype I have some familiarity with. She’s like my BB main , Noel, but (hopefully) not a bass character.
