The math just isn’t mathing. Federal job cuts made by DOGE were suppose to deliver massive savings, but the deficit continues to explode.
It’s obvious that there is no real strategy, only empty promises. Our government has become less functional & we are all worse off because of it. 3/3

Consider a top-ranked state like MA that provides strong ‘normative’ general ed vs. bottom-tier states such as WV or MS that consistently rank near 50th. If gen ed varies this widely, imagine what will happen to the level of services for students w/disabilities once fed overnight is removed. 3/4

The IDEA became federal law because states failed to guarantee the right to a free & fair education (FAPE). Without federal enforcement, there will be no penalty for denying services. This unfunded liability will again shift the burden back to the individual states. 2/4
