One for the techies: I wrote a new article comparing different ways of recording system audio output (the sound coming through your speakers) on macOS using Electron:

DeskVault 0.3.0 for macOS now tracks MRR / ARR across each and *all* of your Stripe accounts. Still only $29 one-off, still fast, still private. Ridiculous value.

Claude code for web:

- connects directly to your GitHub repositories
- creates a sandboxed environment in which to conduct its work
- lets you open a PR once it has finished

Working totally "blind" isn't going to fit a lot of the time, but for some smaller tasks, this could be awesome.

I took cerebras.ai for a spin this weekend. 3,000 tokens/sec inference using gpt-oss-120b. Absolutely insane.

Thanks, px307 🫡

(Context: Decking is a repo I haven't worked on in around 10 years. It was like docker-compose, before docker-compose existed, and I and many other users loved it)

I learned today that my Cofounder is using redreach.ai for our business, and he absolutely loves it.

@dominiksobe.com take this as high praise indeed - he tries a LOT of things and drops most of them immediately. But he's upgrading his three day pass to a monthly sub imminently 😎

Does anyone know precisely how Cloudflare applies CPU limits to long-lived WebSocket connections? I had a socket closed recently on ~2000ms CPU usage - way below the 30 second default.

Bumping the limit works, but I want to understand the methodology @cloudflare.social @cloudflare-dev.bsky.social

Do I know anyone on here who is:

1) an indie maker
2) using Stripe as their payment gateway (directly, not through another service)
3) processing at least $300/month through Stripe
4) willing to try out the latest version of DeskVault.app for free and provide honest feedback?

Thanks in advance 🙏

Weird bait & switch from Apple. Core Audio Taps was previously listed as stable from macOS 14.2. Now they're trying to claim it's in beta and only available from macOS 26.0 onwards?

If you need real-time voice transcription and you can live without speaker diarization + English-only, you will be hard-pressed to beat AssemblyAI's new "Universal Streaming" API.

Incredible latency & accuracy *and* only $0.15p/h. Insane.

Speech-to-Text for voice agents - Universal-Streaming
Universal-Streaming delivers the streaming speech-to-text voice agents have been missing: fast immutable transcripts, higher accuracy, built-in endpointing, and pricing that scales with you.

Seriously, what are you supposed to believe when a company has this range of reviews? Admittedly the sample size on Yelp is miniscule... but boy, are those reviews *damning* 😅

Semi-serious founder tip: stop using your products for a few weeks, then revisit them.

All the quirks you knew like the back of your hand will suddenly seem less familiar, and you'll get a perspective closer to that of new users.

Immediately fix the stuff which confuses you now which didn't then.
