Showing up at a friend's place because we planned to play an RPG, but half of the group didn't have characters yet. So they pulled out the 2nd edition Warhammer 40k box for those of us who already had characters. Eventually we all just played the blood angels versus ork missions from the box.

Italeri has also a selection of 1/56 vehicles (that's what e.g. the Bolt Action WW2 games use) but I've found their model kits not particularly well fitting and with poor instructions.

The RR armoured car is from Meng models and is indeed 1/35 scale. If you're looking for models fitting 28mm have a look at 1/56 scale from Rubicon models: rubiconmodels.co.uk
