I genuinely used to hate Usopp, But now I understand that Oda did that intentionally to make his character development a bit more varied, and different than the average traditional Shonen.
Went from a selfish, milquetoast, contrarian to sounding like the only rational human in that world.

If the original N64 Version is a bit off-putting due to its age, I would HIGHLY recommend looking into "Ship of Harkinan"

I think that's just the way art has mutated unfortunately.
Music too as an industry for smaller artists has been kinda running in parallel with that.
Consistency tends to help, both myself as a type of artist, but also regarding online presence
