I was comparing OC MD to OC NJ. Over 48 years I've personally witnessed OC MD become Seaside Heights.

I used to volunteer to cook for a shelter on behalf of a church I didn't belong to and always wondered why they couldn't find a volunteer from within. I also trucked down hundreds of subs to a shelter that a catholic church was prepared to throw away after a party. I ponder that often.

The new owner apparently wants to bring in alcohol. OC MD's impaired driving arrests is 900 to NJ's 40ish. 48 year study.. that's the worst thing they can do to this town.

Personally I don't understand people that go to the beach for the carney atmosphere. I much prefer Hatteras to OC but given it's already paved over might as well redevelop it.
