The small smile on your face gradually grew empty

You tried to drag your eyes away, to move your neck, even resorting to pulling your head with your hands
But nothing worked, your reflected resonance grasped your gaze
All you could was stare mindlessly, your will slowly being drained by otherwordly orbs

The pigments blurred and the focal point pulsed, dropping and bulging, begging you to stare

Demanding that you focus deep into the centre and lose all sensation in an exalting echo of yourself
The imperative irises were hard to ignore, even for you

The blurry half formed perspective gave way to a sharp image of the spirals
Immediately you were enchanted by the chromacity, a ceremony of scintillating contrasts
But the hues were not the only charming part of your parallel
The way the spiral melded into itself was surreal

With just a glimpse, your eyes already looked much more gorgeous than on camera
The saturated spiral was almost unreal, a display usually found in the finest art, not in real life
A warmness filled your body, creating a soft smile
With a relaxed sigh, you opened both your eyes

You didn't really believe anything bad would happen, trusting in your own willpower to pull away if necessary
With a deep breath, you closed your eyes, calmed your mind, and activated your gift
Tentatively, you peeked an eye open, as the darkness shifted to hazy colours

So you sat down, in front of your bedrooom mirror
Staring at your reflection, you began to wonder if this was a sensible idea
After all, this could easily go wrong for you
You could end up trapped like a modern Narcissus but even more attractive
You chuckled to yourself

You just had to know what your spiral eyes looked like
You had tried taking pictures and videos, but it was never enough
Everyone else described them as beautiful and magical, a captivating painting
But on your potato of a phone, it looked more like a bad surrealist piece
