I didn't get to many bookstores in Jinbocho but I did make a trip just for Anekawa Nyankodo, a store specializing in books about cats <3 As he rang up my stack, I told the shopkeeper I also have a bookstore, in America, and showed him a picture of our store cat.

We will be having shorter hours September 15th to October 18th: Mon/Tues/Wed/Sat will be 10:30 to 4:30, and Thurs/Fri will be 2pm to 5pm. If you come in say hi to Steph, who will be watching over the store and of course Miranda!

If you are a "go to the bookstore and fill a basket" kind of person (as you should be!) what is an ideal basket shape? These are ours, and I've never been thrilled: if you insert the books spine up the handle gets awkward.

Question, if you preordered a book unsigned but then the bookseller happened to go to a signing by the author and got your copy signed as well... I mean it's risky but I figure most people wouldn't mind a signed copy instead?
