Well-put and so true. The compromises I make just to do the simplest of things, and the pain/discomfort that causes -- so few understand.

Fetterman has lost so many constituents (myself included), that if he decides to run again (mistake), I wouldn't be surprised if he went independent or full-blown Republican. He let us down so so so much.

Oh--that same apartment had a non-working fridge and stove that the landlord would only replace if I slept with him. So I lived with appliances older than I was and used a secondhand mini fridge and a hotplate.
Things are better now, but I'll never forget being hungry and sweating through summers.

I loathe people who so blithely offer such absurd "advice." Move where? Some security deposits are so high they're unaffordable. And the "affordable" housing is either gone in a heartbeat or is possibly rodent-/cockroach-infested (I lived in apartments I shared with vermin, because I was poor).

I love how the veterans, when realizing who was speaking to them, began to stand out of respect. And Obama? Not perfect, but an intelligent man of class and compassion. I miss the days when I didn't dread looking to see what horror our government was going to do to us next.

I am a Generation Jones and am SO freaking done with this "leadership." Schumer and all those who caved deserve to lose their jobs. Call me Progressive. Call me Socialist. I don't care--I can't stand how they stand up and then, just as it looks like they're making inroads, they wimp the f out.
