While I share their perception, I would be curious to see numbers that support this perception, e.g., by how much their web traffic has declined. Or how much traffic they get from AI bots relative to human traffic.

I don’t have an Android phone, but you would probably see different instructions.

Congrats and whoever hired you is lucky to have you!

Did your LLM craft this joke?

🎉

But the fact that 42% thought Cuomo should run the City baffles me.

This is the reason why I stopped online shopping.

First they choose the cheapest delivery method they can find and then they put up an AI barrier when I try to sort out deliver issues.

No thanks.

Somewhere there is a fAIn line you should not cross when authoring content.

But does a non-native speaker using AI to improve readability cross that line?

Not sure.

An authentic post full of grammar and spelling mistakes is as unpleasant to read as AI-generated garbage.

It’s ingenious. Let the agent wander off into the wrong rabbit hole and bury all the included tokens there. Powered by 5 kWh of non-renewable energy, which can be used to justify more gas-powered power plants.

If you are still on Sequoia, hold off. 26.0.1 is still full of little annoying UI bugs.

Maybe one day types will be part of the JS spec.

I’ve had a 4 unsuccessful repair attempts story. Since then I go for lower end MacBook Airs with less money at risk. If need be, I would buy a new one while I deal with them.

I wished there was a cheap commodity no fiddling Linux laptop.

But most Linux alternatives cost way more than a cheap Air.

Do I have to give out compliments to an LLM now?

I’m not trying to make a scientific assessment. In terms of perception, Haiku 4.5 is just as good as Sonnet 4.5 for everyday coding tasks. And a third of the price.

I'm not defending Vercel, I am now on Railway, too. And now that I use adapter-node, I have more options, including self-hosting.

But going on step further, from Railway to self-hosted, I currently still see more cons than pros.

On Vercel everything can be in `devDependencies` because Vercel only deploys bundled code.

For `adapter-node` you have to be more mindful of what goes in `dependencies` because you have a real server.
