Her decision is made as she finally meets his gaze. She had already planned to leave home for a while, but now she has to rush her plans because she can barely hold his gaze without wanting to cry. All she asks is that he lets her go before they hurt each other even more.

Jasp tries to hold her back, to explain the situation, but even though nothing happened, Isa still feels like she has been betrayed twice, by her husband and by one of her oldest friends. And the more Jasper tries to reassure her as he caresses her cheek, the more his words ring false to her.

When Isa discovers the scene, she doesn't know whether the urge to vomit or scream comes first. She knew there was a risk of this happening when she decided for a break, especially with Emma spending the entire shoot clinging to him, but she couldn't believe her intuition could be so accurate.

But he doesn't expect her honesty to make her climb onto his lap. Particularly surprised and shocked by her boldness and the fact that she is now far too comfortable around him, Jasper listens, appalled, as Emma tells him that she has always had feelings for him as she trashes the woman he loves.

Jasper takes advantage of filming less important scenes to take a breather from work after he and Isa decide to take a break. When Emma seems genuinely concerned, his words come out faster than expected. Em seems lost in thought for a moment, before asking her if she can be honest with him.

At the restaurant, she had felt a connection. She hesitated to reach out to him, to put her hand on his, happy to see that he was confiding in her, but she was afraid of rushing him. She had always been afraid of Isa too. She who had always had everything she dreamed of without the slightest effort!

The only one who seems to understand her lately is Jasper. She sensed it, this film shoot brought them closer than they had ever been. It was to her and her alone that he came to ask for support so that the shoot could run smoothly. It must mean something that he places this special trust in her.

Once alone, Emma finally breaks down. Not out of grief, but out of rage. How dare they, how dare they all? Little by little, she feels as though her perfect life is being taken away from her, and that every part of it is being replaced by rot that is eventually sickening her.

When Blake and Erica return from school that day, and Erica seems to be looking around for her father, Emma can't help but sigh at this battle she knows is already lost. Of course Erica has already chosen sides, and sure enough, the young teenager throws the worst possible atrocities at her.

She isn't surprised when he finally, impassively, asks her for a divorce. Her ears ringing, Emma is seething with anger. He wants a divorce? Fine. But Emma isn't going to play fair. There is no way she is going to let him, or even Venessa if she was behind this, win.

But once the cracks start to appear, it's hard to go back. And as time went on, she felt Naito slipping away from her, choosing to believe Erica over her more and more, and no longer giving her the chance to explain herself.

But Emma explained her point of view to Naito, she had always been successful with him. He sometimes protected his daughter more than her, she had persuaded him that nothing was her fault. And even though he had forgiven her quickly, he had refused to let Erica stop taking lessons from Aria.

She remembers perfectly the first day when cracks began to appear. Naito arrived furious, as he learned what happened with Aria. She was surprised to learn that the woman she had seen as a mother figure had continued to give lessons to HER daughter behind her back, and now Naito was shouting at her.
